MEET THE ARTIST

George Lamiè is an Egyptian artist whose work distills the essence of place, memory, and material into sculptural forms that feel both ancient and immediate. His creative sensibility has been shaped not only by his Mediterranean heritage and upbringing, but by the cities he’s called home—years in New York instilled a reverence for architectural form and discipline, while his time in Los Angeles deepened his affinity for the imperfect, the organic, and the effortlessly layered.

Rooted in heritage and refined through a global lens, Lamiè’s pieces are tactile studies in contrast: timeworn yet contemporary, raw yet composed. Working with elemental forms and understated palettes, he creates objects that carry emotional weight—designed to live in dialogue with the spaces they inhabit.

Lamiè’s work resonates with those drawn to depth over decoration. More than decor, his collections offer presence and narrative—evoking a lived-in elegance that anchors modern interiors.

Lamiè currently crafts each piece by hand in his private studio in Atlanta’s Buckhead district.
